It seems sense that going camping alone can be frightening, especially the first time. Because you are alone in the wilderness, you must exercise extra caution around your surroundings and the people you come into contact with.
As with any outdoor excursion, there are do’s and don’ts that you should take into account for your comfort, safety, and to have a successful first solo camping trip.
Here are 5 activities you must never undertake alone while camping:
Preparation
The most fundamental but crucial thing to keep in mind is to be ready. As already established, your only source of support outside is you. Learn to set up a tent, start a fire, and cook food for yourself. Pack all of the essentials, including food, water, toiletries, medications, sleeping bags, cooking utensils, and a first aid kit. If you are a believer, then carry your Bible and get closer to God while you are alone with Him in His nature.
In case you become lost, you should also pack a map, a compass, a GPS, a whistle, and some chalk.

Going MIA
Notifying a friend or family member of your travel is another crucial consideration. Give them crucial details such as your entire itinerary, the precise address(es) of the place(s) you’ll be staying, and the time they can anticipate you to return.
This might sound a little excessive but remember that it could save your life if anything unexpected occurs.
overestimating your capacity
20 miles on a known trail returning home is significantly different than 20 miles alone in the bush while carrying a big load. On your first solo trip, go gently and select activities or hikes that suit your skill level.
Don’t try to take on too much at once, as well. For your first camping trip, one or two nights should be sufficient.
Get at your campsite late at night.
This is not the best situation for a novice solo camper. Because of the darkness, it will be more challenging to locate and utilize equipment. Make sure to go to your campground at least two hours prior to sunset so you have enough time to set up camp, find a decent area to pitch your tent, and prepare dinner.

Put your enjoyment on hold
Since you won’t be traveling with anyone else, it’s best to pass the time by amusing yourself. Bring some reading material, a notebook, or playing cards to pass the time if you become bored. Bible and notebook and pen, for prayer/ Bible study.
Remember these things you shouldn’t do when camping alone as you have an amazing time alone

I’m not sure exactly why but this weblog is loading very slow for me. Is anyone else having this problem or is it a issue on my end? I’ll check back later and see if the problem still exists.
